Economic benefits.

A new supermarket would be of significant benefit to the local economy in Camelford – creating jobs and also increasing opportunities for local suppliers.

By reducing the need for local residents to drive to supermarkets in other towns, we expect there will be spin-off benefits for other shops and services in Camelford.

Creating jobs.

A new supermarket would create around 100 jobs in Camelford.

We pay our staff competitive rates, as well as offering training and development opportunities, allowing employees to learn and progress in their careers. Jobs are advertised 4-6 weeks before a store opens.

There would also be a large number of jobs resulting from the construction and we use local sub-contractors where possible.
